About Mustang Region

Nepal is one of the most stunning countries in the world, with an incredible diversity of landscapes and wildlife. The Mustang Region of Nepal lies in the north, just below Tibet and has historically been isolated from other parts of the country due to its geographical challenges - until recently it was only accessible by foot or horse ride! Nepal Mustang Region retains much of its ancient culture and traditional way of life, with traders bringing goods from Tibet on the backs of donkeys through high mountain passes during the winter months.
